AWS Security Specialty is discontinued! Happy New Year

Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode! Today’s episode is more of a relaxed catch-up and honest chat. I wanted to update you on what’s been happening behind the scenes — especially around our AWS Security Specialty journey and why things suddenly paused.
As many of you know, AWS deprecated the certification version we were preparing for. Although I still completed it, I didn’t want to continue creating content around something that would no longer benefit you. Since then, I’ve been thinking deeply about what’s next for the podcast — something relevant, valuable, and sustainable for both you and me.
So in this episode, I’m sharing what’s changing, what’s staying, and the exciting direction we’re heading toward with Cloud Coffee & Certs — including better recording quality, a refreshed format, and some awesome plans for certifications and cloud learning in 2026.
